The Science of Healing, The Art of Care.
Independent, local workplace mental health that adds to what you already run. Pick a category; it plays, then zooms back here.
Where I would start
For eight years I spoke to a room every week, so a session holds and a group keeps coming back. That is over 500 hours of public speaking. I come to your team, in person or online, with a straight session and a practical tool they can use that day. It is the same work I currently deliver in healthcare, in public education, and for municipal staff.
Topics, and yours
For 2 a.m.
Apps that come with the psychoeducation. Guided breathing and grounding, and Dropping the Rope for a stuck thought. After a session, people take the matching app home, so they can practise the very thing they just learned.
A growing library. More tools added over time, each tied to what we teach, and we can tailor them to your workplace.
Check-ins on the website. Private self-assessments a team member can use to quietly track how they are doing and catch a problem early.
Available to your team
Confidential check-ins, built right into the website, so your people can quietly track how they are doing and catch a problem early. Included for your team as part of our working relationship.
A course, not a one-off session
Any subject your people need, built with you and run over weeks or a full semester. Each unit is a short lesson, a practical exercise, and a check-in, so the learning builds and holds. Two examples:
The mental-health piece of your HR onboarding: what support exists, how to ask for it, and where to go first. Built with your HR team, in your language.
Cravings rise and fall like a wave; we practise riding one out instead of fighting it. I ran a recovery home, so this is lived ground.
Why your people will talk to me
Before I counselled, I served in the infantry, built years of business and leadership experience in the trades, and led The Mustard Seed. I have done the hands-on work and carried the weight of leading an organization, so I understand your people and the pressures they carry.
Where I fit
Most organizations already invest in their people, through benefits, an EAP, or HR programs. I am not here to duplicate that. I add capacity, reach, and depth, and I work alongside what you have built.
Start wherever it helps
More than anything, I would love to get to know your people and build a real working relationship over time. For me this is a mission: better mental health, stronger relationships, and a healthier community, not a business to run. Can we find a time to sit down together and see where I fit?

Straightforward pricing
Exempt from GST and PST; counselling and mental-health services are tax-exempt. Always happy to discuss flexible options that fit your funding. And if budget is the barrier, part of this can sometimes be grant-funded; helping you find a program and write the application is included, not billed. More on that next.
If funding is the barrier
Cost should not be why your people go without support. For many organizations, part of this work can be covered by a grant. If that could help you, I am glad to find the right program and write the application with you. You would be the applicant; I bring the mental-health piece, as your named delivery partner.
How it works
This help is included, and I do not bill for it, whether or not the application succeeds. If a grant is not the right fit, we find another way.
